IT Infrastructure Engineer

• Design, implement, and improve infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Own infrastructure projects from planning and solution design through deployment and documentation.
• Modernize on-premises infrastructure and support cloud/hybrid migrations.
• Manage VMware/vSphere and Windows Server environments.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and identity services.
• Manage Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Support endpoint modernization using SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune, including co-management and migration initiatives.
• Design, troubleshoot, and improve LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing, switching, VPN, DNS/DHCP, and firewall environments.
• Evaluate infrastructure technologies and vendors and participate in technical proof-of-concepts.
• Automate infrastructure and administrative processes using PowerShell, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement permanent solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, runbooks, procedures, and implementation standards.
• Identify technical gaps and technical debt and recommend improvements.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to deliver infrastructure projects successfully.

We are seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, modernize, and support infrastructure across a multi-campus organization.

This is an engineering-focused role for someone who can take ownership of infrastructure projects from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across networking, servers, Microsoft 365, cloud, identity, and endpoint management.

This is not primarily a help desk, desktop support, or cybersecurity role. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on infrastructure engineering experience who can independently drive technical projects to completion., * 3+ years of hands-on systems/infrastructure engineering experience.

• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy experience.
• Hands-on VMware/vSphere experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience with SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience with infrastructure design, implementation, migration, or modernization projects.
• Experience with Azure or another cloud platform and hybrid environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently take a project from design * build * deployment * documentation.
• Strong technical documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SCCM/MECM-to-Intune migration.
• Cisco, Meraki, WatchGuard, Fortinet, or similar networking experience.
• PowerShell and/or Power Automate experience.
• Azure infrastructure experience.
• Cloud/hybrid migration experience.
• Experience supporting multiple locations or campuses.
• Healthcare, senior living, nonprofit, or similar industry experience.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, MD-102, or SC-300.
