Job description
Reporting to the IT Manager, youâll work across business applications, cloud services, user access, and on-site technology.
This role is a good fit for someone who investigates carefully, takes ownership, communicates clearly, and knows when to bring in additional expertise.

What youâll do
- Investigate and resolve issues involving business applications, system integrations, scheduled jobs, and data transfers.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, user access, and other assigned cloud services.
- Set up and troubleshoot Windows computers, hardware, and peripherals for our Knoxville and Elgin team.
- Support security activities, including access reviews, vulnerability-remediation tracking, and backup and restore testing.
- Test system changes and coordinate with vendors and technical specialists when needed.
- Keep employees informed about issues, progress, and resolutions.
- Maintain useful documentation and improve processes to reduce recurring problems and manual work.
Requirements
- Typically three or more years of hands-on experience in systems administration, IT operations, technical support, application support, or comparable work. Equivalent combinations of experience and training will be considered.
- Practical experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint-management tools, Windows support, or comparable cloud IT environments.
- The ability to investigate unfamiliar problems using logs, tickets, administration tools, and technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of access management, security controls, patching, backups, and recovery.
- Strong follow-through, sound judgment, and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a collaborative approach.
Helpful, but not required
- Experience supporting ERP, CRM, manufacturing, or distribution systems.
- Familiarity with integrations, APIs, scheduled jobs, data imports and exports, or workflow configuration.
- Experience with Salesforce, Infor SyteLine, Microsoft Intune, NinjaOne, Keepit, PowerShell, or similar tools.
You do not need experience with every product listed. We value transferable skills, thoughtful troubleshooting, and demonstrated ability to learn., * Bachelorâs (Preferred), * Systems Administration : 3 years (Preferred)
