Technical Support - Telecommunications

As a Technical Support Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our field engineers when technical challenges arise. Your role will involve:

• Providing real-time technical support - Assist field engineers over the phone or via video calls, helping to resolve issues that may be delaying installation work.
• Using network mapping software - Analyse and validate issues, using specialized software to find and implement solutions.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving - Identify technical faults and provide immediate support to ensure minimal disruption to work.
• Ensuring smooth communication - Act as a key link between office-based and field engineers, ensuring clear and effective communication.

We’re searching for someone with a strong telecoms background who enjoys working in a dynamic, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive knowledge of telecom networks - Experience with both Overhead (OH) and Underground (UG) networks, preferably fibre optic networks.
• Excellent telephone communication skills - Able to explain technical issues clearly and confidently to engineers on the field.
• Basic computer skills - Comfortable using network mapping software and other digital tools for troubleshooting.
• Problem-solving mindset - Able to think quickly and find solutions under pressure.
