Job description
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and user needs, translating them into compelling design concepts.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Zeplin, and InVision to visualize design ideas clearly.
- Design intuitive user interfaces (UI) and engaging user experiences (UX) for responsive web platforms and mobile applications, ensuring usability across all devices.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, validate design choices, and refine interfaces for optimal performance.
- Implement best practices in information architecture, interaction design, data visualization, and adherence to design patterns to enhance user engagement.
- Work within Agile frameworks like Scrum, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.
- Collaborate on front-end development efforts by providing specifications for HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React, ensuring seamless integration of designs.
- Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Target to monitor user interactions, analyze data for continuous improvement, and optimize the overall user experience.
Requirements
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to design modern, intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences across web and mobile applications.
You will be responsible for transforming business requirements, product concepts and written content into complete user experiences and polished interface designs. Projects may begin with web-based interfaces and ultimately extend into full mobile applications., Proven experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on digital products.
- Proficiency in design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Axure, Zeplin, InVision, Adobe Dreamweaver.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 (including Sass/SCSS/Less), JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React.
- Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Scrum methodologies, and requirements gathering processes within product development environments.
- Expertise in wireframing, prototyping, information architecture, interaction design principles, and usability best practices.
- Experience with data visualization techniques using tools or libraries that support effective communication of complex data insights.
- Knowledge of APIs integration for dynamic content updates and user interactions within applications.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret user research data and analytics insights to inform design decisions.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, data analysts, and stakeholders.
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio is required. Please include examples of mobile app, web application or digital product UI/UX projects that you personally designed.
We are particularly interested in seeing your ability to take a product from initial concept and user flow through to polished, developer-ready interface designs.
Fluent Mandarin Chinese is required, as the role involves regular communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and working with Chinese-language product requirements and content.
