Job description

Tigerless is seeking a UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, visually consistent, and user-centered experiences across our websites, web applications, and internal digital tools. This role will focus on translating business and product requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Figma, understands both UI and UX principles, and can collaborate effectively with product stakeholders and frontend developers throughout the design and implementation process., This role supports Tigerless by improving the usability, accessibility, and visual consistency of our digital products. The UI/UX Designer will help simplify complex insurance-related experiences, establish reusable design standards, and ensure that customer-facing and internal tools are intuitive, functional, and aligned with the company’s brand and product goals., * Design user-centered interfaces and experiences for websites, web applications, mobile-responsive products, and internal digital tools.

  • Translate product requirements and business needs into user flows, information architecture, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

  • Create and maintain high-fidelity designs, reusable components, design systems, and style guidelines primarily in Figma.

  • Collaborate closely with product stakeholders, marketing team members, frontend engineers, and other cross-functional partners throughout the design process.

  • Prepare clear developer handoff materials using Figma, including component states, spacing, layout behavior, assets, and interaction details.

  • Conduct or support user research, usability testing, competitor analysis, and feedback collection to identify design opportunities.

  • Present design concepts and clearly explain design decisions, tradeoffs, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

  • Review implemented interfaces, identify inconsistencies or usability issues, and work with engineers to improve design quality.

  • Balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining design quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • At least 1 year of relevant UI/UX, product design, or digital design experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, prototyping, shared libraries, design systems, and developer handoff.

  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant UI/UX projects, design process, problem-solving approach, and final deliverables is required.

  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.

  • Experience creating user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.

  • Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools.

  • Experience designing insurance, healthcare, FinTech, e-commerce, or other complex service platforms.

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and usability best practices.

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, frontend development constraints, or design-to-development workflows.

  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
