Job description
As a Network Repair Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and restoring connectivity for customers across the network. Working independently and collaboratively with colleagues, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and resolving network faults while delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose and repair copper and fibre faults across the Openreach network, including customer premises.
· Install new services and resolve network issues within exchanges and frame environments.
· Work safely at height and within underground network infrastructure.
· Conduct comprehensive testing at various points throughout the network to accurately identify and locate faults.
· Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service while working both independently and as part of a wider team.
· Achieve operational performance targets and service-level KPIs.
· Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance procedures at all times.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, We are seeking experienced and motivated engineers who combine strong technical expertise with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
Skills and Experience
· Proven experience working in a network repair role on the Openreach network, including exchange-based activities.
· Strong understanding of copper and fibre fault diagnosis, testing, and repair techniques.· Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices in all environments.
· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Proficient in using smart devices, mobile applications, and digital work management systems.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and fault-finding capabilities.
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Confident working at heights of up to 15 metres and within underground infrastructure.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Full UK manual driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months, with no more than 6 penalty points.
