Job description
- To manage the IG for the SEL ICB project work. Including the London Data Service and SEL London Care Record.
- To provide expert guidance on legal and statutory obligations relating to research, information and data governance, including Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT), NHS England, NHS X, ICO and HRA guidance.
- Work closely with ICB programme managers, SEL Organisations and external stakeholders to maintain a high degree of awareness and application of IG standards to direct care, research and development, providing detailed guidance and expertise on enquiries concerning data protection and confidentiality in relation to programmes.
- Manage several boards across the ICS required to maintain IG compliance. Including organising meetings, creating meeting packs and monitoring of actions
- Work with colleagues across the ICS to ensure the maintenance of information asset registers, contracts registers, information flows and other IG related registers.
- Ensure Data Protection Impact Assessments and Information Risk Assessments relating to the projects are completed, and provide expert advice on information and data governance where appropriate.
- Ensure creation of IG documents where appropriate, including Data Processing Agreements; Data Sharing Agreements; Contracts and Data Transfer Agreements.
- To ensure projects are compliant with legislative requirement for third party contract management pertaining to IG related matters, including data sharing or licensing.
- Provide expert specialist information and data governance advice and guidance to the Project Lead, Strategic ICS IG Lead and external stakeholders across the system
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Quality assurance?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Must be from an Information Governance background
- Strong experience of DPIA,
- Data Sharing Agreements,
- Good stakeholder management experience (as this role will involve liaising with both internal colleagues at SLAM but also another Trust (who outsource their Information Governance function to SLAM)
