Job description

Building production-grade services and automation primarily in Python
Designing REST APIs and integration layers across infrastructure platforms
Developing CMDB services, schemas and infrastructure data models
Creating event-driven automation workflows and self-service capabilities
Integrating vendor and internal APIs across compute, networking, storage and cloud
Working closely with infrastructure, platform, security and application engineering teams

Requirements

Strong commercial Python software development experience
FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic and PostgreSQL exposure
Excellent REST API design and systems integration knowledge
Experience modelling complex infrastructure or configuration data
Knowledge across at least two areas of networking, storage, bare metal, virtualisation or cloud
Kubernetes or cloud-native engineering experience
A background building automation for large, complex technology environments
Experience with CMDB platforms, network automation, event-driven architectures, Terraform, Ansible or high-performance infrastructure would be valuable
