Automation Test Engineer (Contract) Location: Stafford, UK (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Contract: 6 Months Education: Electrical Engineering Background Required Experience: 10+ YearsWe are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join a Validation & Verification team working on advanced power systems and HVDC technologies.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop test automation frameworksCreate and maintain automated test scriptsExecute automated tests using PSCAD and MATLABAnalyze and report test failuresEnhance in-house automation toolsDrive test automation and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Skills:Strong experience in automation testing and test frameworksElectrical Engineering background with knowledge of power systems/power electronicsStrong Python programming skillsEmbedded systems testing experienceExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and within cross-functional teams
