Job description

• Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and physical security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mission-critical building systems such as UPS systems, emergency generators, switchgear, and power distribution equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all critical systems.
• Collaborate with facilities and IT teams to plan upgrades, expansions, or modifications to the data center environment.
• Document system configurations, maintenance activities, and incident reports for compliance and continuous improvement purposes.
• Respond promptly to system alerts or failures to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of data center services.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or infrastructure upgrades as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a secure working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience working in a data center or critical facility environment.
• Demonstrated experience with mission-critical building systems including UPS systems, emergency generators, switchgear, and power distribution equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, power management, and environmental controls within a data center setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications related to data center operations or electrical systems are preferred but not mandatory., * Do you have 2+ years of hands-on experience working in a data center or critical facility environment?
