Job description
As a Software Test Analyst, you will be responsible for meticulously planning the Functional/Regression and Automation Testing phases for all projects and BAU changes, focusing on approach, scope, and resource allocation. You will also ensure that testing is executed efficiently to guarantee that the solutions align with business requirements., Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles, particularly in relation to continuous delivery of software libraries. Experience working within a Scrum team, leading in-sprint test case development and conducting exploratory testing. Take ownership of writing, executing, and reviewing both manual and automated test scripts. Contribute to the planning, design, and development of innovative solutions, helping shape the team’s direction. Create detailed manual tests, including Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and UAT tests. Evaluate existing testing practices and propose solutions or improvements to enhance effectiveness. Assist with the deployment process and provide ongoing support post-deployment. Identify and report risks or issues, including detailed bug reports. Develop, maintain, and deploy automated test suites for functional, system, and regression testing, integrated within the delivery team. Design and implement automated test scripts for both functional and non-functional testing (e.g., performance, security, resource consumption) using appropriate frameworks and tools. Extensive experience in building Selenium frameworks from scratch, and converting manual test cases into automation. Proficient in mobile testing, with confidence in reviewing and implementing mobile automation tests using tools like XCUITest or Android JUnit, and significant experience in mobile application testing. Stay current with the latest testing trends, tools, and methodologies, and suggest improvements to our testing infrastructure and tooling. Provide feedback to developers on code testability and recommend improvements to overall code quality. Analyze test results, identify trends, and offer actionable insights to stakeholders. Document test automation processes and best practices for future use. Mentor and coach less experienced team members, fostering their growth. Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The skills, qualifications and experience required for the role:
3+ years of experience in IT/Software Testing, Automation, or as a Test Analyst. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, with proven expertise in software development, quality assurance, and testing. Proficiency in both Manual and Automation Testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber BDD, and RestAssured, alongside experience with Postman. Experience working with Java, Maven, Spring MVC, Databases, SQL, and Continuous Integration (CI) tools like AWS, with exposure to GIT and Jenkins. Basic knowledge of UNIX scripting.
