Job description

We are building a new team to support the migration of our large-scale on-premise software platform to AWS. As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer, you will modernise existing applications, refactor legacy code for cloud optimisation, and build new cloud-native services where needed. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a mix of cloud migration efforts, greenfield development and proof-of-concept projects. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and architects, contribute to impactful software, and grow your cloud expertise in a supportive environment., * Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and services using AWS and .NET technologies.

  • Participate in design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and automated tests.
  • Support the migration of legacy systems to AWS.
  • Analyse and refactor legacy code for cloud compatibility.
  • Design and implement API migration strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6-7 Years of Experience
  • Strong C# Development: Solid experience building applications using C# and .NET.
  • AWS Experience: Practical experience using AWS services in development or production environments (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with legacy system modernisation or refactoring.
  • Experience with API design and RESTful service migration.

Desirable (Nice to Have)

  • Front-End Frameworks: Experience with Angular 2+, React, or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of migration patterns (lift-and-shift, re-platform, re-architect).
  • Exposure to infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Experience with Docker, GitHub Actions, or monitoring tools like Datadog.
