Job description

· Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, reliable, and resilient infrastructure solutions.

· Drive incident response and problem resolution efforts, ensuring high availability and performance of our applications and services.

· Architect and implement automated deployment pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins.

· Collaborate closely with development teams to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency.

· Conduct thorough root cause analysis of incidents and implement strategic solutions to prevent recurrence.

· Design and implement security measures and practices to safeguard our systems and data.

· Contribute to capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization initiatives.

· Lead on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical incidents as necessary.

· Stay current with industry trends and emerging operations automation technologies.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

· Proven track record (5-7 years) as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.

· Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

· Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Puppet and AWS X-Ray.

· Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, AWS Fargate, EKS).

· In-depth understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.

· Proficiency in monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).

· Reporting tools Splunk Dashboard, ServiceNow, and Tableau.

· Advanced scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.

· Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Previous experience working in Kanban/Scrum development environments.
