IT Desktop & Server Support Specialist

· User & Desktop Support: Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for Windows/macOS endpoints, workstations, printers, mobile devices, and core software applications.

· Server Maintenance: Monitor, configure, and maintain physical/virtual servers (Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, VMware/Hyper-V).

· System Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, password resets, and group policies via Active Directory and Entra ID / Microsoft 365.

· Network & Security: Oversee local network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs) and apply routine security patches and updates.

· Documentation & Onboarding: Set up workstations and accounts for new hires; maintain up-to-date documentation for IT processes and system configurations.

· Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on experience in desktop support and basic server administration.

· OS & Hardware: Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS, desktop hardware assembly, and diagnostics.

· Server Systems: Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

· Cloud Platforms: Experience managing users and licensing in Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace.

· Networking: Foundations in TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs, VPN configuration, and hardware troubleshooting.

· Certifications (Preferred) but not required : CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or equivalent.

· Competitive Salary: $67,000 - $72,000 / Year
