IT Operations & Service Management

• Lead and develop a small internal IT team

• Establish a high-performing IT support function: *

• Ticketing, SLAs, prioritisation, escalation
• Clear ownership and accountability

• Design and implement scalable IT processes, including: *

• Joiners, movers & leavers
• Device lifecycle management
• Access management
• Continuously improve user experience across all sites

End-User Technology & Workplace IT

• Own and manage the Microsoft 365 estate, including Azure Entra
• Ensure a well-structured tenant across Group and operational companies
• Define and manage M365 licensing strategy
• Oversee business software and licensing
• Lead hardware and device strategy (procurement, provisioning, lifecycle)
• Take responsibility for office and site networks and connectivity

Cloud & Platform (Azure)

• Own and evolve the Azure environment
• Architect and maintain reliable, scalable hosting for business systems
• Provide environments for software development teams
• Manage and optimise Azure costs

Developer Enablement

• Support and administer tools such as GitHub
• Ensure developers have modern, reliable environments
• Act as a key bridge between IT Operations and Engineering

Information Security, Risk & Compliance

• Own information security alongside the Technical Director and CISO
• Play a leading role in ISO 27001 implementation and management
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery across all systems

MSP Transition & Vendor Management

• Manage vendors and partners to ensure strong service delivery

• Well-structured and optimised Azure platform
• Strong positive feedback from users and engineers

Do you have experience in Management?, * Proven experience in a senior IT Operations leadership role

• Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure expertise (especially complex/group tenants)
• Experience working in multi-site environments

• People management experience (helpdesk/sys admin teams)

• Identity & access management knowledge
• Networking fundamentals
• Endpoint management

• Developer tooling support

• Strong understanding of risk and security controls

Based in our London Bridge Head Office with some travel to our manufacturing facility in East Yorkshire, we are looking for a Head of IT Operations to take ownership of our internal technology estate and play a pivotal role in shaping how technology supports our growing business.

The Head of IT Operations is a high-impact leadership role combining hands-on operational management with strategic ownership of our IT platform.

You’ll ensure our people have reliable, secure, and high-performing technology, while also enabling our software engineering teams with the environments and tools they need to succeed., This role is critical to building a secure, scalable, and future-ready technology foundation for the Reds10 Group. At Reds10 you’ll have the opportunity to shape how IT operates across the business, influence strategy, and make a tangible impact on how we deliver at scale.
