Job description

Learnfinity Ltd (UKPRN 10097136) is a UK edtech delivering 8-week bootcamps in Cloud & DevOps, Cybersecurity and Software Development. We’re hiring an experienced Cloud & DevOps instructor to deliver our live cohort sessions starting July 2026.

This is a part-time, fully remote role suited to working professionals who want to teach alongside their main job most of our instructors deliver 1-2 sessions per week.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver live 2-3 hour cohort sessions on AWS, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD and three-tier architecture

  • Run weekly office hours and answer student questions in our Slack

  • Mark practical assignments and give feedback on portfolio projects

  • Support 8-15 students per cohort from week 1 to week 8

  • Work from our existing curriculum and slide decks - no content creation required

Requirements

Do you have experience in Terraform?, 3+ years professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer or similar

  • Working knowledge of AWS (or Azure/GCP), Docker, Terraform/IaC, and CI/CD pipelines

  • AWS certifications preferred but not required (SAA, DevOps Pro, Solutions Architect)

  • Comfortable presenting to small groups on Google Meet

  • Reliable evening or weekend availability (sessions run Sat 12pm, Sun 12pm, or Tue 7pm GMT)

  • Strong communication skills - able to explain technical concepts to complete beginners

Benefits & conditions

£25-£35/hr depending on experience (negotiable for senior candidates)

Ideal candidates:

You’re a current Cloud/DevOps engineer who enjoys mentoring junior colleagues. You don’t need to be a professional teacher you need to know your craft and be able to explain it clearly. If you’ve ever onboarded a junior, mentored at a meetup, or run a lunch-and-learn you’ll do well here.
