Job description

CoreKinect is seeking an experienced Odoo Implementation Specialist / Developer to help us complete, optimize, and stabilize our Odoo 18 implementation.

Odoo is already actively used within our organization, but we need an experienced practitioner who can quickly understand our existing environment, identify gaps and incorrect configurations, troubleshoot issues, and help establish Odoo as the company’s reliable source of truth.

This is a hands-on role working directly with our Director of Operations and other stakeholders. During the initial phase of the engagement, we are specifically looking for someone who can work on-site in our Chandler office, sit alongside Operations, understand how the business actually functions, and solve problems in real time.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll help us improve and optimize Odoo across areas including:

  • Inventory, warehouses, locations, routes, serial/lot tracking and valuation
  • Purchasing, receiving and vendor management
  • Manufacturing, BOMs, MRP and subcontracting
  • Sales, fulfillment and invoicing workflows
  • Multi-company configuration and intercompany processes
  • Accounting, costing and assets
  • Users, roles and access rights
  • Dashboards, reporting and operational KPIs
  • Data cleanup, imports and process standardization
  • Troubleshooting existing Odoo issues and workflows
  • Odoo configuration, automation and custom development where appropriate

Our goal is straightforward: make Odoo accurately reflect how the business operates and become a system that Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, Accounting and leadership can trust.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience implementing and supporting Odoo in a real business environment
  • Experience with recent Odoo versions; Odoo 17/18 preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Inventory, Purchase, Sales and Manufacturing/MRP
  • Experience with subcontracting and multi-company environments strongly preferred
  • Understanding of Odoo Accounting and how operational transactions affect financial reporting
  • Experience troubleshooting and improving an existing Odoo implementation
  • Ability to translate real-world business processes into practical Odoo configurations
  • Technical Odoo experience (Python, XML, APIs, custom modules, automated actions, etc.) is highly desirable
  • Manufacturing or product-based business experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both operational and technical stakeholders
  • Must be able to work regularly on-site in Chandler, Arizona

Benefits & conditions

This is a part-time, 3- to 6-month contract engagement with the potential to evolve based on business needs.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. This is not an entry-level Odoo role or a position where you will simply work from a predefined development backlog. You’ll work directly with the business to diagnose problems, recommend solutions, implement improvements, and help us build a clean, scalable Odoo environment.

Pay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule
