About the role:
Weâre looking for a Senior Coastal Modeller to join our growing Numerical Modelling team within our Maritime team in the UK.
In this role, youâll work on a wide range of coastal and maritime projects, supporting the design and development of infrastructure such as breakwaters, seawalls, revetments, and marine outfalls. Youâll also play a key role in understanding coastal processes and supporting environmental consenting.

What youâll be doing:

- Preparing high-quality technical reports and presenting findings clearly to clients and colleagues
- Supporting project delivery by working to a programme and a budget
- Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues in their development
- Contributing to continuous improvement, including the use of digital tools and best practice within the team
What weâre looking for:
Weâre interested in hearing from people who bring strong technical expertise alongside a collaborative and positive approach.

- A relevant degree (or equivalent experience) in coastal engineering, oceanography, hydrodynamics, environmental modelling or similar
- The ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience with model setup, calibration and validation
- Knowledge of coastal processes, sediment transport, CFD or water quality modelling
- Experience using GIS tools
- Programming skills (e.g. Python)
- A postgraduate qualification (MSc/PhD) in a relevant subject
