Job description

By joining as a Data Analyst Apprentice, the primary purpose of your role is to support the development of Business Intelligence reports and provide the insight that allow the organisation to make timely, evidence-based decisions.

What You’ll Do:

· Building your understanding of our organisation, alongside your proficiency in the relevant technology, for example PowerBI, SQL and others as appropriate.

· Collaborating with team members to identify data requirements and provide necessary support.

· Assisting in the collection, processing, documentation and analysis of data to support timely business decisions.

· Over time you will begin to work with more independence, but with the knowledge that others in the team can support when needed.

· Generating reports and data visualisations to present data findings to stakeholders in a way that is intuitive.

· Through this we will also build your ability to ensure any analysis and reporting - and the data it is based on - is quality assured, documented and fit-for-purpose.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to show us that you’ve got the skills and capabilities. You’ll have to meet the following minimum criteria

Requirements

  • You will have achieved Three A levels or equivalent and GCSE English and Maths or have significant work experience in a relative field.
  • On enrolment onto the apprenticeship (September 2026) you will be at least 18 years of age, not be in full-time education or receiving of funding for other learning programmes.
  • You will need a full UK Right to Work for the duration of the apprenticeship, and have valid and eligible residency status and be a resident in the UK for 3 years before the start of the apprenticeship, * A strong desire to learn and develop new skills in data processing, visualisation and analysis.
  • Computer skills: Familiarity with and software applications such as Microsoft Office. Ideally, you will have some exposure to MS PowerApps (although this is not essential)
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data-related issues. Your CV showcases where you have solved problems in day-to day life.
  • We don’t expect you to have studied analytics, reporting or coding previously, but we are keen to know what interests you about data ., · Cognitive Ability test to assess your problem solving, critical thinking & attention to detail

· Workplace Behaviour Assessment, to evaluate if you’d be happy in the role applied for.
