Job description

  • Serves asa Development Lead,Sustainment Lead or Sustainment Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Provides expert-level knowledge ofsustainmentlife cycle management activities for programs and project operations.
  • Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel,manpower,logistics, and contracts.
  • Developsblock diagrams and logic flowcharts.
  • Translates detailed design into computer software.
  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs, andrefinesthe computer software to produce the required product.
  • Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
  • Enhancessoftware to reduce operating time and improve efficiency.
  • Provides technicaldirectionto programmers, as required, to ensure that program deadlines are met.
  • Devises ormodifiesprocedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results., * Location: Remote with periodic support at Fort Belvoir or other places in the National Capitol Region.

List of Approved States, This position supports an upcoming government contract proposal and is contingent upon contract award and government approval. Candidates must meet all stated requirements and may be required to sign a Letter of Commitment (LOC).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field with ten (10) years of relevant experience.
  • Expert experience and knowledge ofsustainmentlifecycle management activities for programs and project operations.
  • Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No- Code Development Platform models.
  • Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.
  • Experience developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models.
  • Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
  • Experience as an application programmer on large-scale DBMS, knowledge of computer equipment, and ability to develop complex software to satisfy designobjectives.
  • Experiencewith Oracle, AppianPlatform, and data modeling.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

Benefits & conditions

Target salary range: $100,000 - $150,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.
