SOC Analyst

• Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for production and development systems, both onsite and remote.
• Resolve Level 2 incidents affecting the operation and availability of production systems through troubleshooting and known fixes.
• Install, configure, patch and maintain servers, databases, network, storage and software solutions.
• Implement medium to high risk changes on production systems.
• Deploy standard, repeatable build-outs of medium complexity.
• Support intermediate backup strategies and disaster recovery testing, and serve as a resource to Level 1 technicians.
• Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvements.
• Monitor vendor release notes and apply upgrades and patches as required.
• Install and maintain third-party tools, and participate in planning and designing new platforms.
• Train less experienced staff on supported products and production support best practice.

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience. Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or a related IT field.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and products, including Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve intermediate hardware, software and networking problems.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person, and to translate technical detail for non-technical colleagues.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, digital workspace or storage technology is preferred.
• U.S. citizenship is required. No security clearance is required for this position.

Compensation: $35.00 - $43.00 per hour, full time, 40 hours per week. Onsite in San Antonio, Texas. Day shift.
