Job description

  • Design, build and enhance Sales Cloud solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL and Flows.
  • Build and maintain Conga solutions: Composer templates and document generation, and CLM / CPQ configuration where it applies.
  • Design, build and troubleshoot approval flows: Salesforce Approval Processes, Flow-based approvals and Conga approvals. This covers entry criteria, multi-step and parallel approvers, delegated approvers, escalations, and field updates on approve or reject.
  • Configure and support Milestones: milestone definitions, time triggers, warning, success and violation actions, and how Milestones drive SLAs and business processes.
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, middleware). This includes monitoring sync jobs, resolving data errors and working with integration owners.
  • Own the Account model: hierarchies, Account Teams, ownership assignment and transfer rules, and how ownership affects sharing, visibility and related records.
  • Configure and tune the security model: OWD, role hierarchy, sharing rules and territory-based access.
  • Keep data quality high with deduplication, mass updates and migrations.
  • Write unit tests, meet coverage requirements, and resolve defects quickly.
  • Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and produce technical documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on Salesforce Sales Cloud development: Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows.
  • Hands-on Conga experience: Composer, and ideally CLM and/or CPQ.
  • Deep knowledge of Accounts and Account ownership: hierarchies, Account Teams, ownership transfer behavior, the role hierarchy, and the effect of ownership on sharing and related records.
  • Solid understanding of how approval flows work: Approval Processes, Flow-based approvals, multi-step routing, and approval-driven automation.
  • Understanding of Milestones: setup, time-based actions, and SLA and violation handling.
  • Experience supporting integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, integration users, error handling, and troubleshooting data sync.
  • Strong grasp of the Salesforce security and sharing model.
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Able to work full-time in CST/EST business hours.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, and comfortable working directly with business users.

Good to Have

Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud Consultant) · Conga Advanced Approvals · Entitlement Management · Enterprise Territory Management · MuleSoft, Boomi or Workato · Salesforce CPQ · CI/CD (Git, Copado, Gearset) · Agile delivery

Benefits & conditions

  • This is a long-term position, not a short project. You start as a full-time contractor at $50/hour for 6+ months and can convert to a full-time employee based on performance.
  • W2, 1099 or C2C are all acceptable for the contract phase.
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, in US Eastern / Central business hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Fully remote within the United States.
  • You’ll become the go-to Salesforce developer for this org. You own delivery end to end and work directly with business stakeholders.
  • Apply if: you want a long-term, full-time Salesforce role, you’re comfortable starting on contract, and you have deep Sales Cloud and Conga experience.

Do not apply if: you’re looking for a short-term gig, can only work part-time, need a permanent offer from day one, or require visa sponsorship.
