Job description

This role will ensure that the underlying data remains accurate, current, and reliable. You will work closely with stakeholder teams, attend recurring meetings, capture key information and decisions, confirm details with accountable business leaders, and translate unstructured information into clean, structured data.

The role offers an opportunity to work across the full data and workflow lifecycle. You will help identify data conflicts, outdated information, and process gaps while providing recommendations to improve data quality and workflow efficiency.

Because the dataset includes unreleased content, production information, campaign plans, and internal timelines, confidentiality and discretion are essential.

This is a contract role supporting an evolving workflow. As processes mature and automation is introduced, the focus of the role is expected to evolve accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend recurring stakeholder meetings and capture decisions, data points, action items, and open questions.
  • Confirm information directly with accountable business leaders before entering or updating data.
  • Enter, maintain, and validate records accurately and within established turnaround expectations.
  • Handle confidential and pre-release information with a high degree of discretion, including unreleased titles, unannounced projects, and internal timelines.
  • Respond to in-the-moment stakeholder requests and determine what information can be entered directly versus what requires additional confirmation.
  • Prepare for weekly alignment meetings with a clear understanding of work completed, outstanding items, and potential issues.
  • Identify and escalate data conflicts, stale records, inconsistencies, and process friction.
  • Maintain observations and documentation around data quality, workflow issues, and cross-team patterns.
  • Provide recommendations to improve data integrity, workflow efficiency, and overall process design.
  • Help develop and refine workflows using low-code/no-code tools and structured data.
  • Work effectively with senior stakeholders across marketing, publicity, programming, and related business functions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, internal research, business operations, reporting, or a related analytical role.
  • Entertainment or media industry experience, including familiarity with content slates, production and release timelines, and title-level data.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn unstructured information from meetings, conversations, and documents into structured, reliable data.
  • Experience handling confidential, sensitive, or pre-release information in a professional environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working directly with senior leaders and managing competing inputs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience with low-code/no-code tools and an understanding of relational data concepts, including tables, linked records, formulas, and views.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to create clear notes, status updates, and escalations.
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Highly proactive and adaptable, with the ability to operate independently in an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment., * Experience with Airtable, including formulas, views, and interfaces.
  • Experience with other low-code/no-code workflow platforms such as Asana, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.
  • Marketing data experience, particularly in campaign planning, media, creative operations, or content marketing.
  • Experience building or improving data workflows and processes.
  • Familiarity with global content or campaign planning processes.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented data professional who understands the media and entertainment environment and can comfortably work with senior stakeholders.

You should be able to take information that is coming from multiple sources, determine what is accurate and relevant, and turn it into structured, actionable data. The role requires someone who is comfortable asking questions, challenging inconsistencies, protecting sensitive information, and adapting quickly as processes and priorities evolve.
