Job description

  • Assist with the development and enhancement of internal software systems in line with agreed project plans and priorities.
  • Support the reliability and ongoing maintenance of existing systems, responding to issues and outages as required.
  • Provide assistance to colleagues reporting software bugs and support user training where appropriate.
  • Work closely with the development team to provide updates on project progress and identify potential risks or challenges.
  • Assist with software testing and provide feedback to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Research new technologies, software development best practices and innovative solutions that could benefit the Firm.
  • Support the deployment of new systems and enhancements, including attending project meetings and presentations where required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and procedures

Requirements

Do you have experience in React?, We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate .NET Developer to join our dynamic IT development team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a professional environment, working on innovative projects that utilise a broad range of technologies including ASP.NET, Angular, React, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and services, gaining valuable experience in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices., * A minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline from a UK university.

  • Knowledge of modern .NET development technologies.
  • Working knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server or SQLite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Good understanding of general IT systems, technologies and common technical issues.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn, develop professionally and adapt to emerging technologies.
