Job description

We’re looking for an Appian Solution Architect to join our team in London, United Kingdom in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will lead the design and technical implementation of scalable Appian-based solutions for enterprise clients. You will play a critical role in shaping digital transformation initiatives, ensuring architecture integrity and enhancing overall solution performance., * Lead the architecture, design and development of Appian-based solutions

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and process models
  • Develop and maintain Appian applications, user interfaces and integrations with external systems
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Appian developers and project teams
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in Appian development including code quality, performance optimization and security standards
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Appian applications and integrations
  • Stay updated with the latest Appian features, releases and industry trends to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Appian development with at least 2 years in an architect or lead role
  • Strong understanding of the Appian BPM platform, process modeling and Appian plug-ins
  • Hands-on experience with Appian integrations (REST, SOAP, RDBMS, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Appian SAIL, process design and Appian best practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Appian Certified Lead Designer or Appian Certified Architect certification is highly desirable

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
