Systems Controller

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with a key client in their search for a Systems Accountant to join their Finance operations in Glasgow. This is an exceptional opportunity to become the finance systems subject matter expert and play a pivotal role in driving finance transformation across the organisation. As the finance systems subject matter expert, you’ll take ownership of all finance systems management across Microsoft D365, supporting the Head of Finance Operations Projects and MI to drive transformation and optimisation. On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package including hybrid working., Lead financial legal entity builds, master data management, and system configurations across D365 F&O Ensure financial transaction data flows accurately through all systems with robust controls Manage data migration, cleansing, and conversion activities for system changes and projects Design and implement system configurations to enable efficient end-to-end finance processes Create and manage test plans, scripts, and deliver ERP training (including train-the-trainer) Act as Power BI power user, reviewing and designing reporting to meet business needs Provide frontline support and act as the bridge between Finance and IT teams Develop validation checks and exception reports to maintain financial integrity

Extensive knowledge of finance processes and system management In-depth configuration knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations Strong Power BI capabilities Advanced MS Excel proficiency Experience with systems implementation and business transformation CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent by experience Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical stakeholders Self-starter with strong analytical and project leadership skills
