OverviewWe’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a high-profile public sector digital transformation programme. You’ll be working within an agile delivery team, building and enhancing modern, cloud-native applications used by thousands of end users.This role requires strong full-stack development expertise across .NET, Vue.js and Azure, alongside previous experience delivering solutions within Government, NHS, or wider public sector environments. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain scalable web applications using .NET and Vue.jsBuild and enhance RESTful APIs and backend servicesDevelop responsive, accessible front-end applicationsDeploy and support cloud-native solutions within Microsoft AzureCollaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps and QA teamsContribute to technical design, code reviews and best practicesSupport CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processesEnsure solutions meet security, performance and compliance standards Essential Skills & ExperienceStrong commercial experience with:C# /.NET Core / .NET 6+Vue.jsJavaScript / TypeScriptREST API development and integrationSQL Server and relational databasesHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including services such as:App ServicesAzure FunctionsAzure DevOpsStorage AccountsService BusKey VaultExperience working within Agile delivery environmentsStrong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing and CI/CD Previous experience delivering projects within:UK Government departmentsNHS organisationsPublic Sector bodies Desirable ExperienceCandidates with any of the following will be particularly attractive:Python development experienceAWS cloud experienceAPI-first architecture and API management platformsMicroservices architectureContainerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)Event-driven architecturesExperience working on large-scale digital transformation programmesExposure to GDS standards and public sector delivery frameworks
