Technical Lead - Database Platform Engineer

• Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise data platform solutions.
• Develop and implement infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management best practices.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational database environments, including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar technologies.
• Build scalable automation solutions to improve deployment, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Design and implement highly available, secure, and scalable data platform solutions supporting enterprise workloads.
• Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, perform code reviews, and mentor development team members.
• Establish and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
• Participate in solution design, technical planning, troubleshooting, and production support., * Please briefly describe a recent database/data-platform solution that you personally developed, implemented, or automated. • 8-10 years of hands-on development and engineering experience, including experience in a Technical Lead capacity.
• Proven experience designing and implementing highly available, secure, and scalable database/data platform solutions supporting enterprise workloads.
• Strong knowledge of relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and infrastructure automation practices.
• Hands-on scripting and development experience supporting database platforms, infrastructure automation, configuration management, or related engineering activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and automation frameworks.
• Experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar enterprise development technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise data platforms and distributed systems.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or manufacturing environments is a plus., * How many years of hands-on database/data platform development and engineering experience do you have?
