Technical Support Analyst

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and related peripherals.

• Support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, McAfee antivirus, Adobe Acrobat, and other commercial business applications.

• Configure and troubleshoot Apple and Android mobile devices.

• Support LAN/WAN connectivity and common protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

• Diagnose routers, switches, wireless access points, network, and infrastructure issues.

• Support email and collaboration functions, including Google Workspace, PST files, calendars, and distribution lists.

• Configure and troubleshoot analog and digital telephone systems.

• Track work in the ticketing system; maintain inventory and reporting records.

• Document system changes, technical issues, solutions, procedures, and end-user guidance.

• Provide in-person or electronic staff training and deliver courteous customer support.

At least 3 years installing, administering, and troubleshooting McAfee antivirus, Adobe Acrobat, and other commercial business software. The McAfee and Adobe experience must appear under specific jobs in the resume, not only in a summary or skills list.

• At least 3 years setting up and supporting Windows PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, browsers, Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, and related endpoints.

• At least 3 years supporting IT presentations, IT inventory/reporting, application installation/administration, staff training, and analog/digital telephone systems.

• At least 3 years producing clear IT documentation and customer-facing technical solutions.

• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN support, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, wireless access points, and basic IT security.

• Strong customer service, problem-solving, organization, time-management, and communication skills.

• Ability to perform the position’s essential physical duties, with or without reasonable accommodation, including frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, reaching, walking, bending, or climbing as needed.

• Ability to work onsite in Warrenton every workday, travel locally up to 20%, and attend a possible in-person follow-up interview.

• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, willingness and ability to satisfy the agency’s job-related driving-eligibility process, and ability to physically reside in the United States for the entire assignment., * McAfee antivirus and Adobe Acrobat administration: 3 years (Required)
