Job description

Design, implement, and maintain database solutions across multiple platforms, including mainframe environments.

Analyze and resolve database and data-related issues across various platforms.
Conduct SQL code reviews for standards, best practices, and performance evaluation.
Research and document database structures, including in-house and third-party solutions.
Work with DB2 Z/OS environments, with a strong understanding of their technical requirements.
Implement ETL processes using MS SQL Server SSIS and develop reports using MS SQL Server SSRS.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Apply principles of database design, performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
Document technical architecture and solutions for internal and external teams.
Utilize strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Manage time efficiently across multiple projects, maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements

Demonstrate flexibility, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Utilize knowledge of SDLC, systems analysis, and database administration best practices.
Minimum two years of professional experience in DB2 Z/OS and/or MS SQL Server environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field preferred.
