Lead Front End Engineer

• Define and implement UI framework pieces composed of reusable components to support rapid development of new features
• Work closely with design and other leads to implement detailed designs
• Be comfortable developing full sections of functionality given broad requirements, including identifying and handling of edge cases and error states
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to developers, including one-on-one time to educate and ensure success

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years practical experience in software engineering. In lieu of degree, comparable experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of experience with component-based frameworks, e.g. Vue, Ember, React, and/or Angular
• 4+ years of experience developing responsive web applications
• 2+ years of experience as tech lead for an agile development team
• Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience developing with AI coding tools
• Experience with build tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite)
• Experience working with UI/UX Designers and Product Managers to meet customer requirements
• Experience using Git and Jira (or similar tooling) in a development workflow

Nice If you Have:

• 2+ years of managerial experience
• 2+ years of experience in API development
• Proficiency with TypeScript
• Experience with Python and/or Java
• Experience with AWS / DevOps infrastructure
• Experience creating features allowing for simultaneous editing of content
• Familiarity with SQL and databases in general

Clearance:

• Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a government security clearance up to TS/SCI #LI-MS1

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Salary Range

$140,000 - $200,000 USD
