Job description

We are seeking an experienced F5 Support Administrator to support and optimize enterprise application delivery and load balancing infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing F5 BIG-IP environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security across critical business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP components including:
  • Virtual Servers
  • Pools
  • Health Monitors
  • Profiles
  • SSL Certificates
  • iRules
  • Design and implement scalable application delivery solutions based on business requirements.
  • Support load balancing, traffic management, and application availability initiatives.
  • Perform packet captures and network troubleshooting to diagnose application delivery issues.
  • Manage SSL offloading and application security configurations.
  • Assist with incident response and resolution within established service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Perform routine audits, cleanup, and optimization of F5 configurations.
  • Execute software upgrades, patches, and hotfix implementations.
  • Support web application firewall (WAF) technologies and application security policies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience administering F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM environments.
  • Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting:
  • Virtual Servers
  • Pools
  • Health Monitors
  • SSL Certificates
  • Profiles
  • iRules
  • 3+ years of network and application delivery troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience performing and analyzing packet captures.
  • Strong understanding of load balancing concepts and application traffic management.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, SSL offloading, and enterprise infrastructure support.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment., * Experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
  • Experience with F5 ASM, APM, or other application security technologies.
  • Experience performing TMOS and F5OS upgrades.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $111000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
