As a Sr IT Project Management Specialist here at Honeywell, you will lead and mentor a team of specialists, shaping the strategic direction and effective execution of our technology projects. You will report directly to our Director, IT Program Management and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule., * Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and best practices

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track project progress
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate and allocate resources, including internal team members and external vendors, to ensure project success
  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and senior management
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and practices, The Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) at Honeywell is a division focused on corporate-level functions and initiatives that support the overall operations and strategy of the company. It is responsible for overseeing areas such as finance, legal, human resources, communications, and corporate governance, working closely with other business units and SBGs to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization. The CORP SBG plays a crucial role in the overall strategic direction and management of Honeywell’s corporate functions and operations, supporting the company’s business objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, including at least experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • 3+ years of experience in inspiring and mentoring a high-performing team with strong leadership skills
  • 3+ years of experience in delivering complex IT projects, meeting quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

  • Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar.
  • Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and strategic IT initiatives.
