Job description

· Commission, integrate, configure, and troubleshoot public safety BDA/DAS systems.

· Perform system testing, signal measurements, optimization, and coverage verification.

· Diagnose and resolve issues involving amplifiers, antennas, coaxial cabling, and related components.

· Read and interpret system drawings, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.

· Coordinate with project teams and inspectors to support testing and acceptance.

· Complete commissioning reports, test results, and closeout documentation.

Requirements

· Relevant BDA technician certification; include certification details when applying.

· Demonstrated experience commissioning and integrating BDA/DAS systems.

· Proficiency with RF test equipment and system troubleshooting.

· Familiarity with applicable public safety radio coverage requirements and local acceptance procedures.

· Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and follow jobsite safety requirements.

· Availability to work on-site in Houston, TX.

· Must be willing to travel.

· Must have reliable transportation.

Preferred

· Westell and/or Comba manufacturer certifications.

· Experience supporting public safety radio system acceptance testing in the Houston area.
