HV SAP (Senior Authorised Person) - Electrical Engineering

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join a well-established engineering team delivering critical HV works across 11kV-66kV networks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of operational delivery, while also being involved in projects, client interaction, and team leadership. The Role You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading HV maintenance, remedial and project works
• Carrying out and overseeing HV switching operations
• Ensuring safe systems of work, including permits and authorisations
• Producing and reviewing RAMS and maintaining compliance with HSE standards
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Supporting planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering activities
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers

• Senior Authorised Person (SAP) or strong HVAP background
• Experience working on 11kV-66kV networks
• Proven experience with HV switching and permits
• Background in substations, utilities, or facilities environments
• Strong understanding of health & safety and compliance
• Ability to lead teams and manage operational delivery
