Product Owner

Overall purpose of the role

• Drive the product vision for Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) within cross-digital platforms, focusing on authentication methods like passkeys, passwords, and biometrics.
• Maintain a narrow focus on delivering customer value by modernizing authentication architectures and seamlessly integrating various business units into a live, centralized CIAM platform., * Connect with business stakeholders to map out their requirements and pain points, translating these into clear engineering solutions.
• Articulate the business value of modernizing existing user authentication channels to different internal areas.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize the right tasks, prevent over-engineering, and ensure development efforts accurately represent the customer and business unit needs.
• Engage with and coach engineers to cultivate a strong, value-focused, and customer-centric mindset.

• Proven ability to write and review user stories that clearly define customer problems rather than jumping straight to technical solutions.
• Experience delivering enterprise-wide capabilities rather than working exclusively on isolated applications or specific products.
• A highly external, customer-facing mindset to deeply embed with business unit teams and understand their core objectives.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Cybersecurity, CIAM, passkeys, biometrics, SMS, and 2-factor authentication to help design low-friction customer experiences.
• Desirable: An engineering or technical background to effectively evaluate value-adds, prioritize workloads, and engage with technical teams.
