Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a customer-facing full-stack engineering role at an early-stage healthtech startup building operational software for healthcare staffing groups. You’ll work directly with clinical and operational customers to translate their needs into shipped product - bridging the gap between the field and the codebase on a small, fast-moving team. What You’ll Do Build front-end and back-end features using TypeScript, React, Node, Deno, and SQL. Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements and iterate on solutions quickly. Deploy and operate services on AWS and troubleshoot production issues as they arise. Travel frequently for on-site customer engagements and deployments. Contribute to product design and rapid prototyping, moving ideas to shipped code with speed and reliability.

Hands-on experience with React for frontend development. Backend development experience using Node.js and/or Deno. Comfortable writing SQL queries and working with relational databases. Experience deploying or operating services on AWS. Strong customer-facing communication skills - ability to work directly with clinical or operational teams. High emotional maturity and a collaborative, low-ego working style. Ability to ship reliable software quickly; comfort in an ambiguous, early-stage environment. Open to early-career candidates and recent graduates with strong building ability. Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship. Willing to be based in Miami, FL (relocation from anywhere in the US is welcome).
