Infrastructure Engineer

• Evaluate business and technical requirements and determine the infrastructure changes needed to support applications and projects.
• Review approved technical solutions and develop detailed server and network implementation plans.
• Create comprehensive deployment specifications and technical documentation for implementation teams.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, operations, and other IT teams to ensure infrastructure solutions meet organizational requirements.
• Assess infrastructure dependencies, risks, and potential impacts associated with planned changes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and connectivity issues while supporting reliable, secure, and efficient enterprise operations.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience building, implementing, or supporting IT infrastructure, including servers and networks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Eligibility for C2 clearance is required.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and software-defined networking environments.
• Experience with GitHub in support of infrastructure or software-defined networking initiatives.
• Experience with application design and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Strong understanding of server and network technologies, infrastructure deployment, and change management.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with architecture, security, operations, and technology teams.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Windows Server and RHEL
• OpenShift
• F5 BIG-IP
• Cisco networking technologies
• Enterprise telephony systems
• IBM or Hitachi SAN/NAS storage environments
