Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our core Spacetime engineering team. As a software engineer on the Spacetime team, you will play an integral role in developing and optimizing systems critical to our business, with the flexibility to contribute to and take ownership of various projects as both you and the company grow.

You will be working alongside a team of seasoned engineers from top-tier tech companies, managing project priorities, timelines, and deliverables while designing, developing, testing, and maintaining core software., * Design and build high-performance optimization and scheduling systems for complex network-resource allocation problems.

  • Translate complex product and network requirements into effective computational models.
  • Improve solution quality, runtime, scalability, and explainability as problem complexity grows.
  • Evolve solver architecture to improve scalability, robustness, and reliability under increasing system complexity and load., Lead customer implementations of SOPHiA GENETICS genomic analysis solutions, from planning and sample selection through configuration, training, adoption, and issue resolution. Manage MaxCare Program schedules, timelines, sampling strategies, Statements of Work, technical setup, and cross-functional delivery. Translate laboratory, bioinformatics, data, and clinical regulatory requirements into practical solutions while building trusted customer relationships. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years experience designing and developing production software systems.
  • Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, software design, testing, and debugging.
  • Experience building algorithmically complex, computationally intensive, or performance-sensitive software.
