Software Engineer

• Deliver projects on time and within scope and budget
• Develop and test software components that are well-structured, well-defined, and maintainable.
• Write clear and precise design documentation and specifications
• Debug application software and its interaction with a variety of measurement device hardware.
• Contribute as a member of a self-organizing development team that collectively plans work, and continuously improves its processes and tools
• Maintain and further develop the skills needed as a software engineering professional in this specific domain

Essential :

• Strong background in mathematics
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Extensive experience in object-oriented software design and development using C++/C# or similar programming languages
• Knowledge of MFC, STL, COM, UML, Design Patterns
• Familiar with version control system, i.e. SVN, GIT
• Familiar with Agile Methodology and associated tools - i.e. JIRA
• Excellent verbal/written communication and cross-group collaboration skills
• An ability to work independently as well as a part of a team

Desirable :

• Knowledge of computational geometry (OpenGL and 3D graphics programming experiences)
• Knowledge of Machine Vision (OpenCV and computer vision programming experiences)
• Knowledge of solid modeling software and MBD (Model-Based Definition), * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in application software development in C++/C# on Windows using Visual Studio
• Experience in developing hardware interfaces is a plus, * Bachelor’s (Required)
