Job description

  • Act as the shift lead and primary orchestrator between technicians and engineering teams.
  • Take full ownership of end-to-end vehicle progression through off-track processes.
  • Coordinate and manage:
  • Debug and diagnostic activities using tools such as VCATS and Corvus
  • Cross-functional dependencies, including instrumentation, camouflage, and road testing
  • Ensure smooth operational flow across all build stages.
  • Drive issue resolution by aligning activities between production and engineering teams.
  • Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication across all stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of build status, issues, and resolutions.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System design?, We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Build Engineer to act as the central point of coordination between technicians and the engineering team within a dynamic automotive environment. This role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to manage vehicle progression while ensuring seamless communication across multiple functions.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of off-track vehicle builds, drive issue resolution, and ensure operational efficiency throughout the shift., * Minimum 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry.

  • Proven experience in build coordination, vehicle development, or production support.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and debugging processes.
  • Experience working with diagnostic tools (VCATS, Corvus preferred).
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and dependencies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities., * A proactive leader who can manage complex workflows under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with coordination responsibilities.
  • A team player who can bridge the gap between engineering and operations.
