Job description
Our client, a global technology solutions and services company, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support IT Professional Services projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, engineers, contractors, sales teams, and customers to coordinate schedules, resources, documentation, and project activities from kickoff through completion. The Project Coordinator will also independently coordinate smaller IT projects, helping ensure services are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with customer expectations., * Support Project Managers with resource assignments, scheduling, project tracking, documentation, and closeout.
- Coordinate schedules for engineers, contractors, and other technical resources.
- Coordinate project kickoff meetings with internal teams and customers.
- Monitor project activity, timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain project documentation, including resource schedules, time-entry records, change requests and closure documents.
- Maintain project information within Professional Services Automation (PSA) software.
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Communicate project updates and escalate issues when necessary.
- Coordinate smaller projects from initiation through completion.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in project coordination, project support, IT support, service delivery, scheduling, resource coordination, or a related role.
- IT industry experience preferred but not required.
- Transferable experience in service dispatch, event coordination, customer service, scheduling, or resource coordination will be considered.
- Associate degree or higher in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate project updates and documentation.
- Strong organizational, planning, time-management, customer-service, and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Project Management, IT, or Microsoft Office certifications are a plus but not required.
Benefits & conditions
$48,000-$60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. The company offers an excellent, comprehensive benefits package, including:
