We are seeking a tech-savvy Database & Systems Analyst to power the backend systems across our family entertainment and arcade locations.

In this role, you aren’t just looking at spreadsheets-you are the architect behind the scenes making sure our games, guest cards, and tech ecosystem run flawlessly. As the primary mastermind of our Semnox POS database, you will manage data integrity, configuration schemas, and menu engineering while keeping our systems operating at a high-score level., Database & POS Administration

  • Manage the Semnox POS database as the lead administrator across multiple high-traffic entertainment hubs.
  • Maintain database architecture, product catalogs, prize redemption parameters, SKUs, and pricing matrices.
  • Audit system logs for duplicate entries, sync errors, and data inconsistencies to ensure data integrity.
  • Deploy structural database updates and configuration patches cleanly behind the scenes.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Query and extract insights from the database to identify payout trends, game popularity, and operational metrics.
  • Monitor data pipelines and query response times to keep local transactions running smoothly.
  • Build data insights for leadership to help optimize guest experiences and revenue streams.

System Troubleshooting & Controls

  • Investigate data variances by parsing transaction logs, historical database backups, and ledger receipts.
  • Troubleshoot complex POS backend failures and relational database sync errors.
  • Govern user access permissions and enforce database security and change-management protocols.
  • Document data-handling workflows and software configuration playbooks.

Collaboration & Training

  • Partner with arcade tech and operations teams to align physical floor operations with digital backend data.
  • Train staff members on proper data entry rules and POS terminal workflows.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in database management, POS backend systems, or IT operations analytics.
  • Relational database savvy with the ability to manage, analyze, and troubleshoot digital system logic.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas) and structured reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical puzzle-solving skills with laser-sharp attention to technical detail.
  • Comfortable in a fully computer-based, analytical environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with Semnox POS architectures or similar hospitality/gaming ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries or business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Coursework or Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related technical fields.
