Middle-Level Cartographic Analyst

As a Cartographic Analyst at Embedded Alliance, you’ll help build and maintain those charts. You’ll work alongside government and industry teammates on a mission that directly supports safety of navigation and national security., * Convert, produce, and review Electronic Nautical Charts (ENC) and Digital Nautical Charts (DNC)

• Extract features from raster nautical charts, hydrographic survey data, and orthorectified imagery
• Maintain source data and source catalogs
• Support data conversion and migration efforts
• Take on developmental assignments as the mission grows

• High school diploma and 5 years of relevant military or geospatial experience
• High school diploma, 4 years of experience, and GPC Level I and II certification
• Relevant bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience

Proficiency in ArcGIS and GIS production techniques

Knowledge of digital cartography and NGA data formats

Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery sources for hydrographic products

Nice to have

Nautical or maritime charting experience
