  • Manage and validate access to network and hosting environments to ensure complete infrastructure scanning coverage.
  • Triage and diagnose connectivity and authentication issues across routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and server platforms.
  • Collaborate with network and hosting teams to maintain accurate credential repositories and access policies.
  • Support service graph connector configurations to ensure proper data flow from infrastructure sources.
  • Manage and optimize discovery schedules to align with maintenance windows and scanning requirements.
  • Document credential management processes, infrastructure issues, and resolution procedures.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and related device management.
  • Support Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and virtualized hosting environments, including VMware and Hyper-V platforms.
  • Manage credential access across diverse network and server device types and ensure adherence to established access policies.
  • Troubleshoot enterprise connectivity and authentication issues involving SNMP v1/v2c/v3, SSH, Telnet, WMI, WinRM, and NetBIOS protocols.
  • Analyze infrastructure accessibility issues related to IP address management, network segmentation, and firewall configurations.
  • Independently triage infrastructure issues and escalate concerns appropriately to support operational stability.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on network topology, device configurations, and server environments.
  • Support broader ServiceNow modernization program objectives as needed.

Requirements

  • CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent certification.
  • Scripting experience using PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience with infrastructure discovery or asset scanning tools.
  • Familiarity with CMDB concepts and Configuration Item (CI) classification.
  • Strong expertise in network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and related device management.
  • Strong expertise in server and hosting environments, including Windows Server, Linux/Unix administration, VMware, and Hyper-V.
  • Hands-on experience with credential management across diverse network and server device types.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, including SNMP v1/v2c/v3, SSH, Telnet, WMI, WinRM, and NetBIOS.
  • Experience troubleshooting connectivity and authentication issues in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with IP address management, network segmentation, and firewall rules affecting device accessibility.
  • Ability to work independently, triage infrastructure issues, and escalate appropriately.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale environments with diverse and heterogeneous device types.
  • Experience working within ITIL-aligned processes.
