Job description
The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing complex technology implementations involving fleet, maintenance, asset management, field service, manufacturing, transportation, or supply chain operations. This person will work closely with business and technology teams to drive the project from planning and requirements through implementation, deployment, and stabilization., * Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large enterprise technology implementation.
- Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Coordinate business, IT, architecture, infrastructure, security, data, application, and integration teams.
- Partner with fleet operations, maintenance teams, technicians, parts/inventory, procurement, finance, and other business stakeholders.
- Manage requirements, process design, system configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Coordinate vendors and system integration partners, including SOWs, deliverables, timelines, and performance.
- Lead change management, communication, training, and user adoption activities.
- Manage project financials, forecasts, commitments, and budget variance.
- Identify and resolve critical project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
- Prepare project dashboards and executive-level status reporting.
- Ensure delivery follows enterprise architecture, security, data, compliance, and operational standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed enterprise environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT project management, program management, or professional services consulting experience.
- Experience managing large, complex, multi-million-dollar technology initiatives.
- Experience leading at least 2 large-scale implementations involving one or more of the following:
- Fleet management
- Maintenance technology
- Asset management
- Field service
- Manufacturing
- Transportation
- Supply chain
- Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation through deployment and stabilization.
- Strong experience with project scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, change management, testing, training, and deployment.
- Experience working in a large, matrixed, multi-business-unit organization.
- Experience leading or coordinating teams of 10+ resources.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application, integration, data, infrastructure, security, and architecture environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EAM, CMMS, fleet, maintenance, or field service platforms.
- Experience with large-scale data migration/conversion.
- PMP certification.
- Scrum Master or Agile certification.
- Experience working with system integrators and third-party vendors.
- Experience in multi-location or phased enterprise deployments.
- Strong experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Azure DevOps.
What We’re Looking For
The strongest candidates will be senior enterprise technology PMs, not general administrative project managers. Candidates should be able to demonstrate multiple large-scale implementations and direct experience connecting technology delivery with operational environments such as fleet, maintenance, manufacturing, transportation, asset management, or supply chain., * Have you personally led at least 2 large-scale technology implementations from initiation through deployment in Fleet, Maintenance, Asset Management, Field Service, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Supply Chain?
- Do you have 10+ years of IT Project/Program Management experience, including managing multi-million-dollar projects and teams of 10+ resources in a large enterprise environment?
- Do you have hands-on experience managing enterprise system implementations involving integrations, data migration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization? If yes, please briefly describe the relevant project(s).
