Application Modernization Analyst

• Document existing application requirements and verify all key functionality is retained during modernization.
• Collaborate with business units to identify and recommend system improvements and new value-added features.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories and define acceptance criteria alongside product management.
• Analyze technical approaches, including platform, architecture, and integration considerations, to support delivery teams.
• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing to verify the accuracy of system changes.
• Support change management, user adoption, and training efforts, while providing status updates to IT leadership and business sponsors.

• 7 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in a Senior Analyst role.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Experience analyzing legacy applications and leading requirements gathering for digital transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Experience translating business requirements into clear, well-defined user stories.
• Experience with large-scale project testing, including leading and coordinating User Acceptance Testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational and prioritization abilities across technical and non-technical audiences.
