IT Sr Systems & Support Tech

The Senior Systems & Support Technician is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the company’s network infrastructure and Microsoft cloud environment. The Senior Systems & Support Technician ensures systems are secure, reliable, and running efficiently across the organization. Effectively plan ahead, anticipating issues and infrastructure needs to accomplish company and IT department goals. Provides optimum customer service to internal users., * Manage and administer the company’s Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, Azure, and Entra ID (identity and access management).

• Provide enterprise-level administration and support of Windows 11 environments across the organization.
• Manage and support iOS devices across the enterprise, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Configure, maintain, and secure network infrastructure and firewalls, applying industry best practices and ransomware mitigation strategies.
• Provide responsive, courteous customer service and technical support to internal users, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Responsible for complying with company reporting procedures and completing required company documentation.
• Interact with employees in a courteous and tactful manner.
• Willingness to learn new skills and abilities by participating in continuing education and certification activities.
• Adhere to safety, security, and performance standards.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership., * Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion of drug screens.
• Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify.
• Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check.
• Some travel is required as dictated by business needs.

Direct Reports/Reporting Structure

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant IT certifications are strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration, technical support, or a related IT role required.
• CompTIA A+ certification required.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 tenant management, Exchange, Azure, and Entra ID/identity administration.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; must be very detail oriented.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven success in meeting critical deadlines under stressful conditions.
• Strong sense of personal responsibility.
• Commitment to doing quality work while providing security and customer service first.
