Job description

The candidate will be responsible for leading ETL development initiatives, designing scalable data integration solutions, managing technical deliverables, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders., * Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of ETL/data integration solutions.

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
  • Create and optimize DataStage jobs, sequences, scripts, mappings, transformations, and workflows.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable ETL solutions.
  • Manage ETL development tasks, technical deliverables, timelines, and project priorities.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ETL developers and project team members.
  • Design and implement efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot ETL jobs, data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and work with relational databases and associated utilities.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, error handling, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, database teams, QA, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Ensure ETL solutions follow enterprise development standards, security requirements, and governance practices.
  • Provide project status updates, technical documentation, and risk/issue reporting to stakeholders.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced ETL Technical Lead with 5+ years of experience in software development, ETL technologies, technical leadership, and project management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM DataStage, databases, data integration, scripting, and enterprise software environments., * 5+ years of experience in software development and technical/project delivery.

  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage.
  • Expert knowledge and experience with DataStage scripting.
  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, data transformation, and data processing.
  • Expert knowledge of databases and related tools and utilities.
  • Strong SQL development and database troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with enterprise software development tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as C#, .NET, Java, SOA, SAP, PS, or other object-oriented technologies is preferred
