Applicants will therefore be unable to secure a Skilled Worker visa for this role and will require an alternative source of right to work in the UK.ā€ THE POST- Data Support and Quality Coordinator Strategic Planning is a small, central team at the heart of the University, responsible for shaping institutional policy and driving evidence-informed performance improvement. We are seeking a Data Support and Quality Coordinator to assist in the delivering of business-critical analytics and reporting across all aspects of the University including, but not limited to, utilising internal and external data to forecast student demand, delivering persuasive analytics on student performance, informing research performance strategy and evidencing resource allocation models., In this varied role, you will support internal data processes, including data collection, analysis, dashboard development (using Qlik Cloud), and quality assurance. You will contribute to FOI and data requests, prepare accessible reports for non-specialist audiences, and assist with statutory returns to HESA and the SFC. Working closely with colleagues across Strategic Planning, including the Policy and Planning Manager and Statutory Returns Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality data and insights underpin decision-making across the institution.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teaching?, * An HND/SVQ (Level 4) or equivalent experience, in a numerical discipline

  • Experience of reviewing and analysing qualitative and quantitative data from a variety of sources with the ability to present results in the most effective formats to inform strategic planning
  • Experience of taking an active part in a team, improving efficiency by sharing information and knowledge and supporting others as required.
  • Ability to progress a broad range of activities within professional guidelines and in support of institutional policy in a high quality and timely manner.
  • Strong numerical analysis skills and proven experience of ensuring data quality and accuracy
  • Problem-solving skills using initiative and creativity, and identify and propose both practical and innovative solutions
